Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master to support Agile development teams within a large and complex IT environment. The successful candidate will coach teams in Agile/Scrum practices, facilitate Scrum ceremonies, remove impediments, and drive continuous improvement and effective delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure Scrum principles and Agile ways of working are understood and effectively implemented.
• Coach Development Teams toward self-organization, cross-functionality and continuous improvement.
• Facilitate Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives.
• Remove impediments and protect teams from unnecessary interruptions and distractions.
• Support Product Owners with backlog management, prioritization and capacity planning.
• Manage scope and changes within sprints while maintaining team focus and delivery commitments.
• Conduct team health checks and follow up on delivery performance and improvement actions.
• Help prevent scope creep and maintain alignment between business objectives and technical delivery.
• Work closely with DevOps, engineering and software development teams.
• Support stakeholders in understanding and adopting Scrum and empirical product development.
• Navigate complex IT and business processes within a large organization.
• Promote modern software development and Agile delivery practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in Scrum Master / similar Agile roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum ways of working.
• Proven experience coaching teams toward self-organization and continuous improvement.
• Strong experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies.
• Experience removing impediments and managing scope/change within sprints.
• Experience supporting Product Owners with backlog and capacity management.
• Experience working with DevOps/engineering teams and modern software delivery practices.
• Good understanding of modern software development.
• Ability to translate product and business objectives into technical solutions.
• Experience working within large and complex IT organizations.
• Strong stakeholder communication and collaboration skills.
• Previous software development experience in an Agile environment is an advantage.
• IT Project Management experience is beneficial.
• University degree in IT, Engineering or a related field.
• Fluent Swedish and English, both written and spoken.

Location

Solna, Stockholm, Sweden – onsite presence is expected, with the possibility of remote work based on agreement.
