Search Engine Evaluator

Role Description As a part-time Search Engine Evaluator at Extended Pack Collective, you will assess the quality and relevance of search engine results based on predefined guidelines and user intent. You will review web pages, images, and other online content to determine how well they match specific queries and improve overall search performance. Daily tasks include rating search results, documenting findings, providing feedback on search algorithms, and identifying potentially misleading or low-quality content. This is a hybrid role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, where you will work both on-site and from home, using online tools and platforms to complete assigned evaluation tasks within set deadlines.

Qualifications

• Ability to analyze and interpret online content, including web pages and media, with strong attention to detail and critical thinking.
• Comfort using web browsers, search engines, and online tools; familiarity with digital platforms and basic technical troubleshooting.
• Strong written communication skills in English, with the ability to clearly document evaluations and follow detailed guidelines.
• Good understanding of internet search behavior, user intent, and general web usability principles.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively in a part-time schedule, and maintain accuracy under minimal supervision.
• Residence in or ability to commute to Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with readiness to work in a hybrid on-site and remote arrangement.
• Relevant education or experience in fields such as information science, digital media, linguistics, or usability research is beneficial.
• Curiosity about evolving search technologies and willingness to learn new tools, processes, and evaluation standards.
