Role Description The Search Engine Optimization Team Lead is a full-time, remote role responsible for guiding the SEO strategy and execution across multiple client accounts. This role involves planning and implementing SEO campaigns, overseeing keyword research, directing on-page optimization, and managing link-building initiatives. The Team Lead will review performance reports, interpret web analytics, and provide actionable recommendations to improve rankings, traffic, and conversions. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with content, design, and development teams, mentoring SEO specialists, ensuring best practices are followed, and presenting insights and progress updates to internal stakeholders and clients. The role requires strong ownership of outcomes, clear communication, and a proactive approach to testing and refining SEO tactics.
Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in core SEO execution, including Keyword Research, On-Page SEO, and Link Building.
• Ability to use Web Analytics tools to track performance, analyze user behavior, and support data-driven decisions.
• Understanding of broader Marketing principles and how SEO integrates into digital marketing strategies.
• Demonstrated experience leading or mentoring SEO teams, managing multiple projects, and meeting deadlines.
• Familiarity with major SEO and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, popular SEO tools).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and comfort working in a remote, collaborative environment.
• Relevant experience in SEO and digital marketing; a degree or certification in marketing, communications, or a related field is beneficial.
