Role Description The Securities Advisor Director is a full-time, hybrid role based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, with flexibility for partial work from home. This role oversees advisory services for retail clients, including developing investment strategies, recommending securities products, and ensuring advice adheres to regulatory and internal risk guidelines. The director leads and mentors a team of advisors, sets performance targets, and monitors portfolio results while maintaining a strong focus on investor education and client satisfaction. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing market trends, analyzing client portfolios, collaborating with product and technology teams on new offerings, and implementing best practices for secure, compliant advisory operations. The role also involves building strategic relationships, refining advisory processes, and supporting digital initiatives that expand Kafi’s retail client base.
Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills to evaluate market conditions, securities products, and client portfolios.
• Cybersecurity, Network Security, and Information Security skills to oversee secure advisory platforms and protect client data.
• Awareness of Physical Security practices relevant to safeguarding on-site systems and confidential information.
• Extensive experience in securities advisory, wealth management, or investment banking, preferably in retail markets.
• Deep understanding of Vietnam’s financial markets, regulatory environment, and retail investor needs.
• Proven leadership experience managing advisory teams, setting targets, and driving performance improvements.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CFA, local securities licenses) are an advantage.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, collaborate across departments, and adapt to a technology-driven business model.
