You want to play a part in making NSW a better place to work, live and travel.

You take health and safety as seriously as we do. You're passionate about being part of a team that delivers impactful health and safety outcomes so that everyone goes home safely every day.

In this role, you'll:

Be working as part of a team delivering intelligence led security operations to manage risks across key public transport and state road infrastructure, supporting community safety and operational resilience across NSW.

You’ll monitor and respond to security incidents, maintain situational awareness of emerging threats, and develop operational security plans for major events, disruptions and high risk activities.

You’ll navigate and strengthen operational security outcomes in a dynamic, fast moving environment by coordinating with law enforcement, operators and internal stakeholders to support effective response and mitigation.

This is a full-time fixed-term opportunity for up to 13 months, based in Eveleigh, with a combination of work based and flexible working arrangements.

About you

Your operational security and risk management experience, formed across security, transport, emergency management or multi agency environments, will see you deliver coordinated, intelligence led security responses that protect people, assets and services.

You’re recognised as calm, adaptable and operationally minded, skilled at incident monitoring, risk assessment and security planning, and experienced in working with law enforcement and complex stakeholder groups.

You have or you’ve got experience developing security or transport plans and operating in 24/7 environments, and you can balance security requirements with customer access, asset use and operational priorities under pressure.
