Join our Global Business Services team in Timisoara and play a key role in shaping ContiTech's Treasury & Bank Accounting organization. In this role, you will support a broad range of treasury and banking operations, ensuring accurate financial accounting, strong internal controls, and efficient cash management processes. You will work closely with Treasury, Accounting, Controlling, and business stakeholders while contributing to the implementation of the new operating model, process standardization, and transformation initiatives.

our Responsibilities

• Perform daily Treasury and Bank Accounting activities for ContiTech entities.
• Process and monitor bank statements, bank accounts, and payment transactions.
• Ensure accurate accounting and reconciliation of bank and treasury-related transactions.
• Investigate and resolve outstanding items, discrepancies, and reconciliation differences.
• Prepare and execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts related to treasury and banking activities.
• Support cash management and liquidity monitoring activities.
• Support cash pooling activities, including monitoring, accounting postings, reconciliations, and issue resolution.
• Perform accounting and reconciliation activities related to intercompany loans and financing transactions.
• Support treasury settlements and treasury-related accounting postings.
• Assist in the accounting treatment and reconciliation of foreign exchange (FX) transactions.
• Support bank account administration activities and maintain bank account master data.
• Participate in cash forecasting and liquidity reporting processes.
• Collaborate closely with Group Treasury on treasury projects and process improvements.
• Support internal and external audit activities by providing accurate documentation and explanations.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies.
• Contribute to process standardization, harmonization, optimization, and automation initiatives.
• Participate in SAP S/4HANA transformation projects and support the implementation of new operating models.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and control procedures.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and service delivery.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Several years of professional experience in Accounting, Treasury, Bank Accounting, Cash Management, or Finance Operations.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes.
• Experience with ERP systems; SAP and SAP S/4HANA knowledge is considered an advantage.
• Very good command of English, both written and spoken.
• German language skills are considered a strong advantage.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and good knowledge of MS Office applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
