Senior Accounting Officer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accounting Officer to join our Finance team. This position plays a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and supporting the company’s growth in the fintech industry. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background from a Public Accounting Firm (KAP) and at least 3 years of relevant experience in accounting and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements in accordance with PSAK/IFRS.

• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including general ledger and reconciliations.

• Ensure timely and accurate submission of tax filings and compliance with local tax regulations.

• Oversee and coordinate regulatory reporting to OJK and Bank Indonesia (BI).

• Liaise with internal teams, external auditors, and regulatory bodies to support audit and compliance requirements.

• Maintain and enhance internal control processes to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.

• Provide financial insights to support management in decision-making and strategic planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in accounting, with proven background in a Public Accounting Firm (KAP).

• Strong knowledge of PSAK/IFRS and Indonesian taxation.

• Proven experience in OJK and BI regulatory compliance, including reporting and examinations.

• Proficiency in accounting software/ERP systems and advanced MS Excel skills.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.

• Professional certification (CPA, CA, or equivalent) will be considered an advantage.
