Senior Accounts Executive

Role Description The owner role is a part-time, remote position responsible for guiding independent film projects from concept to script and early-stage production planning. Day-to-day tasks include generating and refining story ideas, writing and revising scripts, and developing pitches and project outlines for potential collaborators, investors, or festivals. The role involves coordinating with directors, actors, and other creatives, as well as managing basic production logistics such as timelines, budgets, and deliverables. The owner will oversee creative direction, ensure that scripts align with project goals, and maintain consistent communication with all partners. This role requires a balance of creative writing, project management, and strategic decision-making in a flexible, remote setting.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in scriptwriting or screenwriting for short or feature-length films.
• Strong storytelling abilities, including character development, dialogue, pacing, and structure.
• Experience in independent film production, including basic budgeting, scheduling, and coordination.
• Ability to work remotely with a high level of self-management, organization, and accountability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
• Familiarity with film industry practices, festivals, and pitching projects to potential partners or investors.
• Comfort with digital tools for writing, collaboration, and project management (e.g., screenwriting software, online communication platforms).
• Background in film, creative writing, media, or related fields is beneficial, though equivalent experience is also valued.
