About Us

At Baysora, we partner with boutique tax and accounting firms to protect what makes them unique while fueling their next chapter. Backed by patient family capital, we take a long-term approach that prioritizes people, culture, and client service. Joining our team means being part of a network that values autonomy, invests in growth, and creates clear pathways for future leaders.

About the Role

Our thesis is that AI and better data create value at a firm when the people doing the work understand them well enough to apply them themselves. As our Senior AI Enablement Specialist, you will be the technical anchor of that effort: spending time in firms alongside tax and accounting professionals, and owning the harder builds (agents, automations, integrations, and data pipelines) that turn one firm's win into every firm's practice. You will report to the Director of Technology & AI, work directly with firm partners, department leaders, and staff across our operating firms, and help mentor our AI Enablement Specialists.

What's in it for you:

• Flexible work environment (Hybrid)

• Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits package

• 401(k) with employer match

• Unlimited PTO

• A supportive culture to allow you to live a fulfilling, happy, and impactful life

Key Responsibilities

Technical Builds and Working Sessions

• Sit with individuals and teams, map how they actually do their work, and move from opportunity to working solution inside the same engagement.

• Design, build, and deploy production-grade AI solutions: Claude Skills and agents, multi-step automations, MCP connectors, scripts, and integrations with practice management, billing, GL, and document systems.

• Own what you build end to end (testing, documentation, monitoring, and handoff) so it keeps working after you leave the room.

Data and Reporting Maturity

• Build reliable data pipelines from the systems firms already run into our KPI dashboard, lead new-firm dashboard onboarding, and automate the monthly reporting staff assemble by hand.

• Raise data maturity: consistent definitions and coding, fewer one-person spreadsheets, and firm leaders using reports to make decisions.

AI Standards and Mentorship

• Partner with the Director of Technology & AI to set standards for secure, responsible AI use, including client data privacy, access controls, and tool evaluation.

• Mentor and review the work of AI Enablement Specialists, and build reusable patterns and code repositories the whole team can use.

Education and Training

• Deliver AI training alongside our Director of Technology & AI (full-firm, service-line, new-hire, and advanced tracks for power users), and build a self-serve library of guides, recordings, and skill repos.

Case Studies and the AI Matrix

• Turn one firm's win into every firm's practice: document the problem, what was built, and what it saved, then share it across firms and track who adopts it.

• Own our internal map of each service line (process steps, pain points, what worked, where it's live) and use it to prioritize the build roadmap.

Measuring and Reporting Impact

• Capture a baseline before an initiative and a result after (hours, cycle time, capacity created, error rate, realization) and feed it into firm and board reporting.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years in a software development role, including 2+ years building with current AI tools and APIs (e.g., Claude, OpenAI).

• Proficiency in Python or TypeScript/Node.js and SQL, with experience shipping integrations, automations, or agentic workflows.

• Experience using data and analytics to drive business decisions.

• Proven experience as a coach, teacher, or mentor with strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to prioritize competing requests across multiple firms.

Preferred Skills:

• Accounting, tax, or professional-services background.

• Experience building MCP servers, Claude Skills, or custom agents.

• BI tooling (Power BI, Tableau, Looker or similar) or modern data stack experience.

• Familiarity with practice management, time-and-billing, or workflow platforms used in accounting firms.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience delivering training or facilitation to non-technical audiences.
