Senior AI Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Senior AI Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will lead and support the global Community of Experts (CoE), facilitating connections among data professionals around specific data science themes such as search, forecasting, and personalization, where best practices, knowledge, and algorithms are shared. You will be responsible for delivering analyses, owning scalable AI products that drive measurable business impact, managing AI systems in production, and enabling cross-brand AI automation and reusable components.

Responsibilities

• Translate business problems into practical AI/ML solutions with measurable impact
• Identify data requirements and prepare, process, and validate data to ensure quality, reliability, and usability
• Apply appropriate analytical and machine learning methods based on business needs and technical constraints
• Build, deploy, and maintain scalable machine learning models and AI services in production
• Develop reusable pipelines, automation solutions, and shared components to improve efficiency and accelerate delivery
• Collaborate with engineering, platform, and business teams to ensure reliable implementation and integration
• Monitor model and system performance, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvements
• Generate insights from data and communicate findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders
• Contribute to best practices in testing, deployment, and MLOps
• Lead the development of AI platform components, reusable services, and production-grade algorithms

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as an AI/ML Engineer or in a similar role
• Proficiency in Azure Cloud Platforms, Databricks, and PySpark
• Background in modern software development practices such as IDEs, Unit Testing, and Version Control
• Familiarity with CI/CD workflows
• Experience with generative AI–assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code, including the ability to prompt effectively, assess suggestions critically, and uphold security and quality standards
• Capability to make architectural decisions within the domain and ensure model lifecycle management
• Advanced knowledge of AI systems design, architecture, and production-level MLOps
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (C1 level)
