Senior AI Software Engineer at BairesDev

In this role, you'll build production software that connects to LLM providers and platforms, applying strong Java and Python engineering to agentic AI systems. Leading internal AI-driven initiatives, you'll leverage AI coding agents to move faster while keeping full ownership of code quality and reliability. What You'll Do

• Build and ship software integrating with LLM providers and platforms.
• Lead internal AI-driven initiatives across the software development lifecycle.
• Develop agentic systems involving tool use, agent loops, function calling, and structured outputs.
• Leverage AI coding agents to accelerate development while owning code quality end to end.
  
  

What We Are Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Java.
• Hands-on experience with Python.
• Deep expertise in agentic system design, including tool use, agent loops, function calling, structured outputs, and reasoning models.
• Experience with RESTful API development and integrations.
• Comfort with AI-assisted coding as part of the daily workflow.
• Experience with MCP or AI agent orchestration frameworks.
• Background working with LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Vertex AI, or Bedrock; Anthropic experience preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

• Comprehensive testing experience.
• Background with SnapLogic or similar iPaaS/enterprise integration platforms.
• Experience with Maven build systems and CI/CD.
• Experience with vector store integrations.
