Do you have the expertise to transform demand planning processes into a strategic advantage for a global pharmaceutical supply chain?

R&D Partners is seeking a Senior Analyst, Global Demand Planning & Supply Chain Systems to support a global pharmaceutical company. This role focuses on driving consistency across demand management processes, system configuration, and process integration. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in process optimization, analytics, training, and stakeholder collaboration within a global supply chain organization.

This is a remote role based anywhere in Ireland.

Responsibilities:

Strategy & Process Excellence

  • Partner with global supply chain leaders to establish and maintain standardized demand management processes across regions.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for demand planning systems and tools, ensuring effective utilization of capabilities.
  • Enhance existing demand planning methodologies and promote operational best practices.
  • Drive alignment across cross-functional teams and integrate demand planning activities with broader supply chain processes.

Operational Responsibilities

  • Coach and support Demand Planners and Supply Chain stakeholders in implementing process improvements.
  • Analyze and maintain forecasting parameters, statistical models, and forecast profiles to improve accuracy.
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance forecasting outputs generated by enterprise planning systems.
  • Develop, maintain, and deliver training programs for demand and supply planning teams.
  • Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions and training workshops globally.
  • Provide guidance and support to global demand management teams.
  • Participate in cross-functional problem-solving activities and continuous improvement projects.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant quality and operational standards.
  • Support post-implementation activities following new process or system deployments.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) during internal and external stakeholder engagements.

Key Skills and Requirements:

Required Experience:

  • Proven experience in demand planning and/or supply chain planning environments.
  • Strong knowledge of forecasting methodologies and planning processes.
  • Experience working with forecasting and planning systems.
  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Access, Tableau, or similar platforms.
  • Strong stakeholder management and customer-focused mindset.
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and time management skills.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Finance, Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience working with demand planning systems and processes.
  • Strong understanding of planning processes across Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, and Finance functions.
  • Experience with ERP and advanced planning systems preferred (e.g., SAP IBP, BW, Tableau, or equivalent platforms).

Salary:

  • £25.00 - £29.50/Hour
