Salary range: 2700 - 3200 euros gross

Job Profile
We are looking for a Senior Angular / Frontend Engineer with strong technical ownership capabilities for a large-scale enterprise banking platform. The ideal candidate should combine hands-on Angular development with frontend architecture, reusable component design, design-system implementation, cross-team code review, Angular odernization, CI/CD awareness, documentation discipline, and the ability to act as a senior technical reference point across multiple teams. The candidate must be able to take end-to-end ownership of complex frontend solutions, guide multiple teams, maintain architectural consistency, and drive the long-term evolution of a large-scale banking platform.
Key Qualifications
Experience
- 6+ years of frontend development experience, with strong expertise in enterprise-scale web applications.
- Proven experience as a Senior Angular Engineer in complex, business-critical environments (preferably banking, financial services, or large enterprise platforms).
- Experience operating as a technical lead or senior technical reference point, even without a formal Team Lead title.
Core Technical Skills
- Expert knowledge of Angular (latest versions), TypeScript, RxJS, and Angular Signals.
- Strong experience with state management (NgRx / NgRx Signals).
- Solid understanding of REST API integrations, asynchronous processing, authentication, and complex user journeys.
- Experience with PrimeNG, Tailwind CSS, SCSS, HTML, Git, npm, and Jest.
Architecture & Technical Leadership
- Ability to design frontend solutions and application architecture rather than simply implement predefined requirements.
- Experience defining reusable patterns, shared services, component architectures, and frontend standards.
- Strong understanding of scalability, maintainability, performance optimization, and technical debt management.
- Ability to assess technical risks and drive modernization initiatives.
Design Systems & Component Libraries
- Experience building and maintaining reusable component libraries.
- Strong knowledge of design systems and translating Figma designs into reusable Angular components.
- Experience designing component APIs, library structures, and reusable UI patterns.
Code Review & Mentoring
- Proven experience conducting code reviews across multiple teams.
- Ability to mentor developers, establish engineering standards, and maintain architectural consistency.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence technical decisions.
DevOps & Delivery
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, package versioning, npm publishing, and Nexus repositories.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and frontend deployment processes.
- Ability to troubleshoot build, deployment, and integration issues.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Experience working closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners, UX/UI Designers, Backend Developers, QA teams, Architects, and DevOps engineers.
- Ability to bridge business requirements and technical implementation.
Documentation & Knowledge Management
- Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation, architecture guidelines, development standards, onboarding material, and implementation guides.
- Strong commitment to knowledge sharing and long-term maintainability.
