About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior iOS Engineer to take ownership of a modern iOS application, building high-quality native experiences with SwiftUI while integrating with a shared Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) business logic layer.

This is a hands-on engineering role where you will work closely with backend and platform teams to deliver scalable mobile features and contribute to a shared ecosystem used across both iOS and Android.

You will work extensively with our internal PowerCore SDK, combining modern native iOS development with cross-platform architecture, secure authentication, backend integrations and production-grade mobile engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Own, develop and maintain the native iOS application using Swift and SwiftUI

• Build modern iOS features using SwiftUI, MVVM architecture and Swift Concurrency (async/await)

• Integrate and consume backend microservices through the shared Kotlin Multiplatform PowerCore SDK

• Debug, optimize and maintain interactions between the Swift and Kotlin layers

• Integrate the shared KMP SDK using Touchlab SKIE for Swift/Kotlin interoperability

• Implement secure authentication flows using MSAL and Azure Entra External ID, based on OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect

• Manage Firebase services on iOS, including Analytics, Crashlytics and Cloud Messaging, with appropriate APNs configuration

• Develop and maintain WebView-based journeys, including payments and identity verification with secure authentication-token injection

• Implement secure token storage and follow iOS security best practices

• Write and maintain unit and UI tests

• Support GDPR requirements through consent-management integrations such as OneTrust

• Contribute to iOS build, release and App Store distribution processes

• Support and enhance CI/CD processes in Azure DevOps

• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions and continuous improvements to mobile architecture and engineering quality

• Ensure development activities are carried out in line with applicable regulatory, security and compliance requirements

What We’re Looking For

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field

• Strong professional experience with Swift and native iOS development

• Hands-on experience building production iOS applications using SwiftUI

• Solid understanding of MVVM architecture

• Strong understanding of Swift Concurrency, including async/await

• Experience implementing authentication using MSAL, OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect

• Hands-on experience with Firebase iOS SDK, including Analytics, Crashlytics and Cloud Messaging with APNs setup

• Knowledge of secure token storage using the iOS Keychain

• Strong experience with Xcode, Instruments and iOS debugging tools

• Experience with dependency management using Swift Package Manager

• Experience working with WKWebView for embedded web journeys

• Experience writing unit and UI tests using XCTest and XCUITest

• Experience integrating Kotlin Multiplatform modules into iOS applications using tools such as Touchlab SKIE

• Experience working in an Agile development environment

• Strong ownership, communication and collaboration skills

• Familiarity with Kotlin and Kotlin Multiplatform concepts

• Experience with consent-management platforms such as OneTrust

• Experience working with cross-platform mobile architectures or shared SDKs

• Knowledge of iOS CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps

• Experience managing App Store builds, signing and distribution
