Employment Solicitor | Bournemouth or Southampton | Hybrid Working

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Employment Solicitor at Associate or Senior Associate level to join a well-regarded regional law firm.

The team advises on a broad range of employment law matters, providing practical, commercially focused advice to a varied client base. With a collaborative working environment, quality work and opportunities to develop client relationships, this is an attractive opportunity for an employment lawyer looking to take the next step in their career.

The Role

You’ll handle a varied caseload of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, advising clients on employment law issues and representing them in employment-related litigation and tribunal proceedings.

The role will also involve drafting contracts, policies and other employment documentation, alongside building client relationships and identifying opportunities for cross-referrals.

Working closely with experienced colleagues, you’ll have the opportunity to develop your expertise, contribute to thought leadership and support junior team members.

There will also be scope to get involved in business development and contribute to the continued development of the practice.

About You

  • A qualified solicitor with 3+ years’ PQE and strong employment law experience
  • Confident managing your own caseload with minimal supervision
  • Strong client relationship, communication and organisational skills
  • A commercially minded approach and a collaborative, proactive attitude

Why Apply?

  • Join an established employment team within a well-regarded regional law firm
  • Work on a varied caseload with opportunities to develop your expertise and client relationships
  • Benefit from a supportive, collaborative environment with ongoing training and career development
  • Enjoy hybrid working, with three days a week in the office, based in either Bournemouth or Southampton
  • Receive a competitive salary, private medical insurance, 25 days’ annual leave plus an additional celebration day, pension contributions and other benefits
