The Bank Reconciliation Center of Excellence (BRCE) is a center of knowledge and expertise delivering exceptional bank reconciliation services globally in support of TNC’s strategic goals and priorities. The Senior Bank Reconciliation Accountant provides specialized account reconciliation services.
Open to North America locations in countries where TNC may hire staff. Position will provide support to the North America region.
The Senior Bank Reconciliation Accountant is responsible for preparing reconciliations of cash and investment accounts, reviewing bank reconciliations performed by others, monitoring and reporting the timeliness and quality of reconciliation activities, and reviewing transactions necessary to address reconciling items. This role serves as a technical expert on reconciliation matters and acts as a liaison between Central Finance and business units to ensure compliance with financial, accounting, and administrative policies and procedures. The Senior Bank Reconciliation Accountant identifies and communicates reconciliation deficiencies, supports preparers in resolving issues, and assists with the correction of reconciling items. The role also maintains reconciliations templates and procedures, provides documentation and support to internal and external auditors, responds to moderately complex inquiries, and implements and communications new accounting and financial procedures to both financial and non-financial audiences.
This is a fully remote position where the chosen candidate can be located anywhere TNC is registered to work but will be expected to support North America Business Units working U.S. time zones.
RESPONSIBILITIES & SCOPE
• Reviews and/or prepares moderately complex bank reconciliations and ensures reconciling items are communicated and resolved timely.
• Builds and maintains strong internal working relationships across different countries, cultures, and time zones.
• Resolves or escalates and updates process documentation.
• Provides recommendations to improve information flow, process, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Ensures programmatic commitments, TNC policies and procedures, financial standards and legal requirements are met and managed for compliance.
• Participates in assigned projects.
• May require occasional travel.
• May require overtime to meet deadlines.
• May require work outside of standard hours to collaborate with global teams across different time zones.

What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field and 3 years' related experience or equivalent combination.
- Experience preparing and reviewing moderately complex bank reconciliations.
- Experience in manipulating, analyzing, and interpreting data. Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel
- Technical experience using accounting and financial reporting systems
- Experience with GAAP and fund accounting principles, practices and regulations.
Salary Information:
This position may be based in any country where TNC has an established entity, taking into consideration legal restrictions, such as non-national ratios and immigration processing times. For U.S. based applicants only, the starting pay range for this position is generally within the range of $57,040.00 – $90,000.00 for annual base salary and is based on location, qualifications, specific skills, and experience. This range only applies to candidates whose country of employment is the USA. For all other applicants, pay ranges will be in local currency, the pay range will be based on the local labor market, and not tied to the above pay range. Your geographic location will be confirmed during the recruitment and used to determine your actual pay range. Additionally, for all applicants, actual pay will fall within a range based on a variety of factors including, for example, the candidate’s qualifications, specific skills, and experience.
