Senior Bookkeeper — Greenroom SM — £35,000 — Full-time, Hybrid (Rainham, Kent)

Greenroom SM is a specialist finance practice for the arts and creative industries, working with producing theatres, orchestras, festivals, production companies and arts charities. We are looking for a hands-on Senior Bookkeeper to take ownership of purchase and sales ledgers, balance sheet reconciliations, production payrolls and VAT returns across our client portfolio, and to be the first point of contact for client finance queries.

No two days are the same. Productions run to strict timeframes, turnaround is quick, and several clients depend on us at once. It suits someone who enjoys pace and variety and doesn’t need a rigid process to do great work.

You’ll need strong Xero and QuickBooks experience, payroll and VAT experience, exceptional attention to detail, and confidence using AI tools to work smarter. Arts, production or charity finance experience is a real plus. Hybrid, based at our office in Rainham, Kent: at least 2 days a week in the office (3 days during the 6-month probation, for training) and the rest from home, plus occasional client days in London or elsewhere. Travel outside Kent and London is paid for. Flexible hours, and we’re happy to accommodate other flexible working arrangements.
