Senior Brand Manager
London, hybrid (3 days in the office) | £65,000 to £75,000 + share options
We're working with a personal care brand that already has a loyal UK following and is now growing into new products and markets. They need someone to get people talking about them.
This role owns the brand activity that earns attention: content, social, community, IRL moments, partnerships and PR. There's no big TV or paid awareness budget for the next couple of years, so fame has to be earned. If you'd rather be clever than loud, this one is for you.
What you'll do
Turn the brand strategy into a joined-up programme of activity, with plans, budgets and clear measures of success
Build the content engine: a monthly run of hero brand content, briefing in-house and agency creatives and pushing until the work is right
Own social and community, growing organic reach and turning followers into people who actually care. You'll line manage the Social Media Manager.
Bring the brand to life in real life through experiential, events and sponsorships
Find the right partners (talent, causes, other brands) and turn collaborations into something that cuts through
Lead PR with the agency, keeping the brand in the right conversations
Look after tone of voice and identity so everything you put out is distinctive and shareable
Hire, build and develop the team as it grows
What you'll bring
At least 8 years in brand roles, including time at a DTC brand. The DTC experience is a must.
Brand content you've led from brief to finished piece that people chose to watch and share. We'll want to see it.
A proper playbook for growing organic social across Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn
Hands-on experience leading PR, experiential and partnerships
Strong creative judgement, and the confidence to push agencies and production partners to get there
Comfort with data: you use brand and channel metrics to decide what to do next, not just gut feel
Line management experience, and you enjoy developing people
Bonus points if you've worked at a bigger brand (where you learnt the structure and rigour) and a scale-up (where you learnt to make things happen with less)
What's in it for you
£65,000 to £75,000, plus share options after probation
Hybrid working, 3 days a week in a London office
Generous holiday, plus your birthday off
Wellbeing platform and gym membership
A brand with a real sustainability mission, at a stage where your work will visibly shape it
