JOB DESCRIPTION

We have an opportunity for a Salesforce Senior Business Consultant with expertise in Sales Cloud and Service Cloud. This role can be located anywhere in the United States. REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 2 years experience administering or consulting on the Salesforce platform, with hands-on configuration across Sales Cloud and Service Cloud (flows, approvals, assignment rules, case and opportunity configuration, routing and queues, declarative automation, reporting, user lifecycle management)
  • Active Salesforce Administrator certification required at minimum
  • Capable of completing at least 80% of declarative build work Items or assigned work without detailed solution notes, including installing common AppExchange packages, and can execute Solution Architect designs with minimal oversight
  • Comfortable as a client-facing point person for portions of workshops, requirements sessions, demos, testing, and training, keeping stakeholders aligned and raising risks early
  • Understands the SOW and can identify risks such as scope creep or unclear requirements, partnering with PMs to propose next steps before issues escalate
  • Ability to work with clients to proactively identify enhancements and include in a backlog
  • Basic experience with data migration or transformation tools (e.g., Copado, data loaders) to support deployment and release processes
  • Understands the purpose of each deliverable, knows where templates live, and can drive documentation creation with minimal guidance
  • Resourceful problem solver who owns assigned work, seeks guidance appropriately, and delivers predictable quality with minimal oversight
  • Actively uses AI tools such as Claude to speed up delivery work, including documentation, testing, and requirements synthesis
  • Ability to mentor junior consultants, including QA on their first iterations of deliverables
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to take a leadership role when necessary

  • Build trusted client relationships through proactive account management and effective project delivery.
  • Establishes knowledge of client business challenges and priorities to translate into opportunities.
  • Maintains regular client communication and satisfaction, ensuring opportunities and challenges are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Helps deliver presentations to clients and management teams.
  • Contributes to project discoveries, kickoff, prepare proposals and statements of work following company standards.
  • Translate client’s business needs into detailed business requirements documents, use cases and systems interaction diagrams.
  • Works with customers to establish approved wireframes and mock-ups for solutions.
  • Assists project team to establish high, mid, and micro level plans for project team.
  • Helps to establish critical path, milestones, delivery dates, and review client deliverables to ensure they meet client acceptance criteria.
  • Provides leadership throughout the lifecycles of a project, guiding the understanding the project team has through design and development to ensure project requirements are met
  • Helps establish project test strategy, methodologies, test plans as well as assist with test execution.
  • Instills team commitment to company delivery methodologies and practices.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE

  • Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant and/or Service Cloud Consultant certification
  • Exposure to Experience Cloud (portals, sharing models, customer or partner communities) is a plus
  • Familiarity with Omni-Channel, Knowledge, SLAs, or AgentForce is a plus as the service platform continues to evolve. SC Voice for Call Center & SMS Features a plus.
  • Exposure to Data Cloud or AI-assisted service capabilities is a plus
  • Experience with additional clouds (Marketing Cloud, Revenue Cloud) is a plus
  • Technical background (developer exposure, integrations, or platform architecture) is a plus

Preferred skills and education:

  • Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
  • Strong understanding of complex Internet based enterprise level applications

The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $57,798- $131,640. Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits or any potential variable compensation programs.
