Senior Construction Planner

Role Description The Senior Construction Planner will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing project schedules for construction initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall project objectives and timelines. This part-time remote role involves coordinating with project managers, engineers, procurement teams, and other stakeholders to track progress, identify risks, and recommend corrective actions. The Senior Construction Planner will analyze resource allocation, monitor critical paths, and prepare planning reports and dashboards for management review. The role also includes supporting cost and schedule control processes, contributing to tender and proposal planning, and ensuring that construction activities are properly sequenced and documented.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Construction Planning and Project Planning for complex projects.
• Candidates should possess skills in Project Control, including schedule monitoring, progress reporting, and risk tracking.
• Candidates should possess skills related to Procurement and Construction coordination to align materials, labor, and site activities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience working with planning and scheduling software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar tools).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills, with attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate clearly in written and spoken English and collaborate effectively in a remote environment.
• Previous experience in senior planning or similar roles within construction or infrastructure projects is a strong advantage.
