Job reference number: 111241
Employment type: Permanent Full-Time
Salary range: $124810.0-$139787.0
You empower people to work in a way that works for them.
Here's your chance to design and deliver efficient, customer-focused services that also enhance accessibility, sustainability and overall quality of living for more people than you've imagined.
In this role, you'll:
Working as part of a team delivering high-quality communication and community and stakeholder engagement services across Transport for NSW programs, projects and initiatives, this role will see you develop and implement communication and engagement strategies, deliver consultation activities, manage issues, coordinate content and storytelling, and use data and insights to strengthen participation, trust and transparency.
You will lead effective, inclusive and insight-driven engagement and communication activities in a complex, multi-stakeholder and politically sensitive environment with competing priorities and shifting timelines. You'll build and maintain strong relationships with communities, local councils, community groups and project stakeholders, ensuring diverse perspectives are heard and considered while supporting positive project and community outcomes.
This is a permanent full-time role with hybrid working arrangements. Parkes is the preferred location, with other suitable locations across the Western Region also considered.
For more information on the role and business unit, view the role description and information pack.
About You
Your strong communication, community and stakeholder engagement, analytical and relationship-management skills gained across communications, community engagement, public relations, government, infrastructure or service delivery environments will see you excel in managing complex stakeholder relationships, embedding engagement best practice, supporting project delivery and responding to emerging issues to strengthen community trust, confidence and participation.
You’re recognised as a credible and trusted communicator, skilled at developing and delivering engagement and communication plans, coordinating consultation activities and creating clear, accessible content. You're experienced in using data and insights to inform strategies and deliver consistent, high-quality engagement outcomes that support transparency, informed decision-making and meaningful community participation.
