  • Lead Executive and Board-level governance and reporting, ensuring senior leaders have clear, timely and decision-focused insight on material cyber, resilience and technology matters.
  • Provide trusted advice and constructive challenge to senior leaders, bringing together risk, control, regulatory and assurance information to identify material themes and areas requiring action.
  • Lead the governance of regulatory, audit and assurance engagements, ensuring commitments, findings and actions are effectively managed, evidenced and escalated.
  • Maintain senior oversight of material issues, control weaknesses and remediation, driving clear ownership and accountability while ensuring risk and control responsibilities remain with the appropriate business and technology owners.
  • Build strong relationships and influence across AIB, working with Technology, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Internal Audit and other senior stakeholders to deliver consistent governance outcomes.
  • Lead and develop the governance team, setting direction, building capability and driving continuous improvement in the quality and effectiveness of CSRO governance.

What you Will Bring:

  • Significant experience in governance, cyber security, operational resilience, technology risk, audit, assurance or compliance within a complex, regulated organisation.
  • Strong experience designing and enhancing governance frameworks, including senior management reporting, escalation, action tracking and Executive or Board-level materials.
  • A strong understanding of cyber and ICT risk, information security controls and the three-lines model, together with relevant frameworks such as DORA, NIS2, ISO 27001 and NIST.
  • Experience managing regulatory, audit and assurance engagements, with the ability to translate complex requirements, risk information and findings into clear governance insight and action.
  • Strong leadership, analytical and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and constructively challenge senior stakeholders and communicate complex matters clearly.
