Senior Cybersecurity Consultant – Cloud Security, Financial Services

🧭 About the Role

Mett is recruiting a Senior Consultant to deliver hands-on cloud security and regulatory compliance engagements for financial institutions. You will assess risks associated with cloud, SaaS and AI adoption, evaluate security controls and translate requirements into practical recommendations. This role combines direct consulting delivery with ownership of project quality, schedules and client deliverables.

🚀 Key Responsibilities

• Conduct security reviews and risk assessments for financial institutions adopting cloud platforms and SaaS services.
• Evaluate security controls across AWS, Azure and Google Cloud environments, including assessments of cloud service providers.
• Analyze the security, privacy and regulatory implications of adopting AI services.
• Review applicable financial regulatory requirements, including Korea’s Electronic Financial Transactions Act and relevant supervisory regulations.
• Develop risk-based safeguards, remediation roadmaps, security policies and operational procedures.
• Prepare assessment reports, executive presentations and supporting materials for audits and supervisory reviews.
• Manage assigned engagements and coordinate directly with clients, overseas headquarters and regional stakeholders.

🎯 What We’re Looking For

• A bachelor’s degree or higher from a four-year university.
• Strong understanding of information security management systems, controls and risk assessment.
• Experience as a Project Manager or Project Lead, with accountability for schedules, quality and deliverables.
• Ability to assess evidence, structure complex issues and translate regulatory requirements into workable controls.
• Strong professional writing, client communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Preferred: 10+ years in information security, IT risk, IT compliance, privacy or a related field.
• Preferred: experience in financial-sector security, cloud security projects, or cloud/SaaS assessments for financial institutions.
• Preferred: relevant credentials such as CISSP or CISA, international project experience and the ability to handle professional discussions and documentation in English.
