In this position, you will work on technically demanding projects, help shape scalable data solutions, and collaborate with experienced professionals to deliver meaningful results. Your Responsibilities

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play an important role in designing, building, and improving modern data environments.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing and implementing scalable data platforms and processing solutions.
• Developing robust data pipelines and applications using modern engineering practices.
• Working with cloud technologies such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Making architectural decisions related to data storage, processing, performance, and scalability.
• Translating business challenges into effective technical solutions.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to define requirements and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Ensuring data solutions meet expectations regarding reliability, maintainability, and security.
• Providing technical guidance to colleagues and contributing to knowledge sharing within the team.
• Evaluating new technologies and recommending improvements to existing architectures.

Depending on the project, you will have the opportunity to take ownership of technical workstreams and contribute to broader architectural decisions.

Your Profile

We are looking for an experienced engineer who enjoys combining hands-on development with technical problem-solving and collaboration.

Ideally, you bring:

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in software engineering, data engineering, or a similar technical role.
• Strong programming skills in one or more languages such as Python, Scala, Java, or Go.
• Solid experience with cloud infrastructure and cloud-native development.
• A good understanding of distributed systems, networking, storage solutions, and security principles.
• Experience designing and delivering reliable, scalable data solutions.
• Familiarity with data processing frameworks and modern data architectures.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to approach complex technical challenges independently.
• Excellent communication skills and the confidence to discuss technical decisions with different stakeholders.
• A proactive attitude and an interest in mentoring and supporting other engineers.
• Professional proficiency in English.

Experience with technologies such as Apache Spark, Databricks, Kafka, or orchestration frameworks is considered an advantage.
