Senior Data Engineer (Python, AWS, Redshift)

An established business is looking to strengthen its data engineering capabilities by bringing in a Senior Data Engineer to join a small, growing team.

This is an opportunity to take ownership, work across the full data engineering lifecycle and play a key role in developing data solutions, improving processes and establishing good engineering practices.

It's a hands-on position offering plenty of autonomy, technical influence and the opportunity to grow alongside the team.

What you'll be doing

• Building and improving data pipelines and processes.
• Developing data models and automated reporting solutions.
• Improving data quality, monitoring and reliability.
• Working closely with developers and the wider data team.
• Helping establish engineering standards and technical practices.

What you'll bring

• Strong Python and SQL experience.
• Experience with AWS and Redshift, ideally Databricks.
• Background in building data pipelines and working with data warehouses.
• A strong understanding of data quality and accuracy.
• Someone who enjoys taking ownership and working within a small team.

Industry experience isn't essential. What's important is your technical ability, attention to detail and willingness to take ownership.
