If you're seeking a career that offers purpose and aligns with your values, join us and start your #Redcareer today.

About the role

As a Senior Data Product Manager – Finance & Procurement, you'll take end-to-end ownership of the data products supporting our Finance and Procurement domains, helping Redcare Pharmacy make better financial and commercial decisions through trusted, accessible and actionable data.

You'll work closely with Finance, Controlling and Procurement stakeholders to understand their challenges, identify opportunities and translate complex business needs into scalable data products that create measurable value.

Whether it's improving financial transparency, enabling more effective cost management, optimising procurement performance or establishing consistent financial KPIs, you'll define the data product strategy and roadmap that enables our business teams to make faster, more informed decisions.

Working at the intersection of business, product and data, you'll have the autonomy to challenge assumptions, align stakeholders around shared priorities and drive the development of data products that deliver meaningful business outcomes.

About the tech stack

You don't need to be a Data Engineer or build complex data models yourself, but you'll be comfortable navigating modern data platforms, understanding financial data structures and discussing technical solutions with engineering and analytics teams.

Databricks • Power BI • Modern Data Platforms • Data Products • Financial & Procurement Analytics • Data Insights & Metrics • Jira • Confluence

About your tasks

  • Own the Finance & Procurement data product portfolio: Take end-to-end responsibility for data products supporting financial reporting, controlling, procurement analytics, cost transparency and operational decision-making, ensuring they deliver measurable business value.
  • Define the domain strategy and roadmap: Develop and continuously refine the Finance & Procurement data product roadmap, identifying high-impact opportunities, challenging business requirements and prioritising initiatives based on business value, user needs and strategic objectives.
  • Drive financial transparency and performance insights: Partner with Finance and Controlling teams to enable reliable insights into financial performance, profitability, cost structures, budgeting, forecasting and financial KPIs.
  • Enable data-driven procurement decisions: Work closely with Procurement stakeholders to improve visibility into purchasing performance, supplier management, spend analytics, procurement efficiency and cost optimisation opportunities.
  • Establish trusted and consistent data products: Collaborate with business and technical teams to improve data quality, harmonise KPI definitions, clarify data ownership and ensure consistent, reliable information across Finance and Procurement.
  • Turn business challenges into scalable solutions: Translate complex financial and procurement processes into clear product requirements, working with Data Engineers, Data Analysts, Forward Deployed Engineers and DataOps to deliver sustainable and reusable data products.
  • Measure adoption and business impact: Define success metrics for your data products, monitor their usage and effectiveness, and continuously improve solutions based on stakeholder feedback and measurable business outcomes.
  • Drive stakeholder alignment and prioritisation: Act as the key interface between Finance, Procurement and Data & Analytics, balancing competing priorities, managing expectations and ensuring transparency around product decisions and delivery.
  • Manage product delivery and communication: Use Jira and Confluence to maintain product backlogs, communicate priorities, document decisions and provide clear visibility into roadmap progress and product outcomes.

About you

  • You bring 6+ years of relevant experience, with strong experience in Data Product Management, Analytics Product Management or closely related data-driven product roles.
  • You have strong domain knowledge in Finance, Controlling and/or Procurement, with a solid understanding of financial reporting, performance management, cost structures, spend analytics or procurement processes.
  • You understand how Finance and Procurement teams use data to make decisions and can translate complex business requirements into valuable, scalable and reusable data products.
  • You have demonstrated experience owning product strategies, roadmaps, prioritisation and measurable outcomes, ideally in environments with multiple business stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • You're confident engaging with senior stakeholders, including Finance and Procurement leadership, and comfortable challenging assumptions, aligning different perspectives and driving decisions.
  • You bring a strong analytical mindset and understand the importance of consistent KPI definitions, data quality, governance and reliable reporting in Finance and Procurement environments.
  • You have sufficient technical understanding of modern data platforms, data modelling and business intelligence to collaborate effectively with technical teams and challenge proposed solutions. Experience with Databricks, Power BI or comparable modern cloud data platforms is an advantage.
  • You combine strategic thinking with a pragmatic, hands-on approach, taking ownership of outcomes rather than simply managing requirements or delivery.
