JOB DESCRIPTION - ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

MISSION

• The mission consists of ensuring the analysis, documentation, maintenance and evolution of two strategic applications developed in a WinDev environment:
• GESTSCOL, a school management solution used by schools in Wallonia-Brussels Education
• SIPPT, an application for managing the activities of the Internal Service for Prevention and Protection at Work.

The consultant will work closely with the business teams to ensure service continuity, risk management and the sustainability of applications.

OBJECTIVES OF THE MISSION

• Application architecture analysis and documentation
• Carry out a complete technical audit of the GESTSCOL and SIPPT applications.
• Map the existing software architecture:
• Application components;
• HFSQL databases and structures;
• interfaces and trade flows;
• synchronization and replication mechanisms;
• document management and document generation;
• security and rights management mechanisms.
• Produce architecture documentation that can be used by technical and business teams.
• Identification of operation and maintenance requirements
• Identify and document all technical dependencies:
• WinDev, WebDev, HFSQL and third-party component licenses;
• server and client infrastructure;
• deployment procedures;
• backup and restore mechanisms;
• synchronization and replication procedures;
• source code, repositories, and version control tools.
• Assess the ability to resume maintenance by a third party.

Risk Management

• Identify technical, operational and organizational risks related to applications.
• In particular, assess:
• the risk of data loss or corruption;
• the risks associated with dependence on certain technologies or resources;
• security risks;
• risks related to code documentation and maintainability.
• Develop a risk management strategy and a prioritized action plan including:
• corrective actions;
• preventive actions;
• recommendations for modernization.

Corrective, Scalable Maintenance and Business Support

• Ensure the analysis and processing of incidents and requests for assistance.
• Participate in the diagnosis of anomalies and propose appropriate corrections.
• Develop functional changes validated by the business lines.
• Carry out technical tests and acceptance support.
• Ensure the deployment of patches and evolutions.
• Provide technical advice to business managers and IT teams.

• Detailed architecture file of the GESTSCOL and SIPPT applications.
• Inventory of technical requirements, licenses and infrastructure.
• Flow mapping and interfaces.
• Risk analysis and risk reduction plan.
• Documentation of operation and maintenance procedures.
• Periodic maintenance and follow-up report on business requests.
