SUPO) Why this role matters: As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you’ll design and operate the core platform foundations that power ICEYE’s products, enabling secure, scalable, and reliable services across cloud and on-prem environments. Your day-to-day responsibilities Design, operate, and evolve core platform components including Kubernetes, ingress, service mesh, and secrets management Build and maintain reusable infrastructure modules using Terraform across AWS and on-prem environments Define and implement observability standards, including metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, and alerting Partner with product teams to guide platform adoption and enable scalable, platform-aligned architectures Automate platform lifecycle processes including provisioning, upgrades, and scaling Improve platform reliability, performance, and security through continuous iteration Support and mentor engineers on best practices in Kubernetes, networking, identity, and observability Reduce operational overhead through tooling, automation, and improved platform abstractions What we’re looking for Must haves: 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering roles operating production systems Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including cluster operations, networking, and lifecycle management Solid understanding of AWS fundamentals including networking, IAM, compute, and storage Experience with infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform Practical experience with observability, including SLOs, metrics, logs, traces, and alerting Proficiency in at least one backend language such as Python or Go Strong Linux systems knowledge and troubleshooting skills Ability to collaborate across teams and communicate effectively in English Nice to haves: Experience with Rancher, Istio, External Secrets, or Vault Experience operating in restricted or air-gapped environments Experience with identity systems such as FusionAuth or SSO integrations Experience in regulated or mission-critical environments Experience with hybrid infrastructure across AWS and on-prem platforms Application process Recruiter interview Hiring manager interview Task Assignment Technical interview Final interview Working at ICEYE At ICEYE, you’ll join a diverse and highly engaged team united by the ambition to make the impossible possible.
