We’re looking for a strategic, operationally focused marketing leader to build the operating system, capabilities and ways of working that enable modern marketing to scale.
As Senior Director, Marketing Enablement & Operations, you will define how marketing plans, executes and governs work across the enterprise. You will establish scalable processes, integrated planning practices, technology enablement, governance frameworks and operational discipline that help teams move faster, work smarter and deliver measurable business impact.
You will build, lead and evolve a multidisciplinary function spanning marketing operations, automation, CRM/email operations and enablement. As a people leader, you will attract, develop and retain top talent, create clarity and accountability across the team, and foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation and operational excellence.

The Core Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Capability Development

Build, lead and develop a high-performing multidisciplinary team across marketing operations, automation, CRM/email operations and enablement.

Build organizational capabilities that improve planning, delivery, governance, technology adoption and operational effectiveness across marketing.

Establish clear priorities, goals and development plans that align individual performance with enterprise objectives.

Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
Marketing Operations & Organizational Enablement
-
Design and lead the enterprise marketing operating model, including planning, intake, prioritization and workflow processes.

Establish consistent ways of working that improve collaboration, accountability and execution across marketing teams.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives that increase efficiency, visibility and speed to market.

Build scalable frameworks and standards that support organizational growth and evolving business needs.
Marketing Technology Enablement, Automation & AI
-
Lead the marketing team’s effective use of key platforms, including CRM and email automation tools, in partnership with Technology and platform owners.

Partner with Technology and platform owners to support platform enhancements, integrations and adoption that improve marketing delivery.

Identify opportunities to automate workflows and streamline delivery processes.

Champion responsible AI enablement across marketing through capability building, governance and workflow integration.
Go-to-Market Excellence & Integrated Planning

Lead the enterprise go-to-market framework and marketing processes to maximize quality and efficiency.

Own the integrated marketing planning process and enterprise marketing calendar.

Drive alignment across brand, product, channel and partner initiatives.

Ensure resources, timelines and priorities are coordinated to support strategic objectives and divisional OKRs.
Governance, Risk & Compliance

Establish governance frameworks that support effective decision-making and marketing execution.

Lead compliance and approval processes in partnership with Legal and Compliance teams.

Ensure marketing activities adhere to regulatory requirements, corporate policies, brand standards and the responsible use of data and technology.

Support regular compliance tracking and reporting requirements.
Agency & Vendor Management

Lead agency operating models, governance and performance management.
-
Manage relationships with key external partners and marketing service providers.

Establish processes for resource planning, workflow management and delivery oversight.

Ensure agency partnerships deliver strong business outcomes and operational effectiveness.
Measurement & Performance

Develop operational KPIs, dashboards and reporting frameworks.

Monitor marketing effectiveness, workflow performance and team capacity.

Provide insights and recommendations that improve operational efficiency and organizational performance.

Support budgeting, resource planning and investment prioritization activities.
Let's Talk About You

10+ years of progressive leadership experience in marketing operations, business operations, marketing transformation, enablement or related functions.

Proven success building and scaling operating models within complex, matrixed organizations.
-
Experience leading enterprise-wide transformation, process improvement and organizational change initiatives.

Experience leading multidisciplinary teams across marketing operations, marketing technology, project delivery, automation or business enablement functions.
-
Demonstrated success attracting, developing and retaining high-performing technical and operational talent.

Strong understanding of integrated marketing, go-to-market execution and modern marketing practices.
-
Experience leading marketing operations teams that use CRM, email automation or other marketing platforms to deliver 360 campaigns and customer communications.
-
Financial services, regulated industry or risk-aware operating environment experience is an asset.
