A market-leading, global investment management firm is seeking a senior engineer to operate as a trusted technical partner to its investment and operational teams.

This is not a role defined by a fixed backlog or a single product. You will collaborate directly with individual stakeholders and business leaders, shaping requirements as they emerge and delivering solutions tailored to the needs of the people who rely on them.

You will work hands-on with C# and .NET, backed by SQL and Python where relevant, to redevelop legacy platforms, modernize established codebases and build new systems from the ground up.

The work spans backend services, desktop/UI applications and system integrations.

The portfolio is broad and business-critical, covering trading, risk, research, payments and investment operations. Performance, reliability and data integrity are paramount, and your judgement will carry real weight.

Engagement Terms

• Rate: €550-€650 per day
• Term: 6-month initial contract, with strong potential for extension
• Location: Dublin, hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
