Description

• Review electrical engineering packages from internal teams, engineering firms, vendors and contractors
• Review drawings, one-line diagrams, schematics and equipment specs for completeness and accuracy
• Identify gaps, discrepancies and execution risks before construction or outage activities
• Align materials, equipment, vendors, contractors and resources with the project schedule
• Develop and maintain schedules across engineering, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning
• Coordinate with site engineering, maintenance, operations, contractors, vendors and utility providers
• Oversee transformer and substation work, including equipment replacement and outage coordination
• Help standardize aging and obsolete hoist control systems across multiple facilities

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline is preferred
• Expert-level experience in an industrial, manufacturing, mining, metals, chemical or utility environment
• Working knowledge of industrial controls and PLC-based systems
• Experience reviewing work from third-party engineering firms, contractors, OEMs or vendors
• Strong project management skills across multiple projects at once
• Electrical outage and equipment replacement experience is preferred
• Strong communication with engineering, operations, maintenance, contractors and site leadership

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $115000.00 - $140000.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
