-------------【About the company】-------------
The company will create a society in which all people involved in manufacturing can maximize their inherent power.
To achieve this goal, they will create a "new mechanism" that will change the common sense of industry.
Busy with estimating and administrative tasks, lacking sales skills, and lacking information and networks.
By untying these shackles, the potential of each company can be unleashed.
From small factories in town, to large manufacturers with a long history, to start-ups in their early years, all manufacturing companies will shine by leveraging their strengths to create new value.
They will continue to take on the challenge to open up such a future.
◆Flat organization
Regardless of your position, team, previous experience, gender, age, etc., you can express your opinions and immediately incorporate what is good.
◆Excellent members
The team is made up of members who have been active in leading companies. You will have an environment where there is a growth and stimulation every day.
◆Engineer Driven
Since they are operating in a field where there are no precedents yet in the world, technical skills are extremely important, and engineers play a leading role.

◎A service that uses automated quotation technology to connect custom-orderers with processing companies.
The manufacturing industry is Japan's key industry, boasting a gross domestic product of 180 trillion yen.
In fact, about 120 trillion yen of that is accounted for by the cost of parts procurement.
Despite this large percentage, there has been no major innovation in the procurement field for over 100 years.
In particular, parts procurement for the high-mix low-volume production industry, which accounts for about one-third of the total, has been facing various social issues on both the ordering and receiving sides, such as the time and effort required for ordering and quotation, procurement costs, and the high deficit ratio on the production side.
They believed that by solving these problems, manufacturers not only in Japan but also around the world would be able to focus on higher value-added work and maximize the potential of the manufacturing industry as a whole.
So, the company developed the world's first service that uses automated quotation technology to connect custom-orderers with processing companies.
-------------【 Job Description】-------------
The company is driving a massive transformation within the manufacturing industry. Its flagship product, a manufacturing data utilization cloud, continues to experience rapid growth at a pace that surpasses the T2D3 trajectory, with operations expanding globally across Japan, the United States, and ASEAN regions.
In tandem with this hyper-growth, the engineering organization has entered a new phase centered around the theme of "Be Mature," evolving into a development framework capable of delivering even higher reliability and scalability.
The core pillar supporting the quality and dependability of the product is the Reliability Group, which houses specialized teams across SRE, QA, and DevEx (Developer Experience). To accelerate ongoing business expansion and global rollout, the company is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead this critical group and elevate product reliability to the next level.
The Role of an Engineering Manager at the Company
The core mission of an Engineering Manager (EM) is to maximize the impact and output of their assigned department or group. To define the group's direction, EMs establish OKRs and handle critical management duties by working backward from future strategic goals.
The company does not define the EM role with a one-size-fits-all approach; instead, individuals are encouraged to drive results by leveraging their unique strengths. For instance, some managers excel at empowering others to drive outcomes, while others lead from the front by driving architecture and technical policy decisions on the ground.
Consequently, the operational balance across technology management, project management, product management, and people management varies dynamically depending on each EM's domain and the specific challenges they are focused on solving.
Responsibilities
You will take ownership of managing the Reliability Group, which is responsible for elevating product reliability. You will lead team members across the SRE, QA, and DevEx domains to resolve complex technical and organizational challenges.
Team Management
・Strategy & Delivery: Establish goals, define roadmaps, and manage progress for the entire Reliability Group (SRE, QA, DevEx).
・People & Growth: Conduct regular 1-on-1s, set clear performance objectives, deliver evaluations, and provide continuous feedback to support member growth and career development.
・Culture & Productivity: Plan and execute initiatives designed to optimize team productivity and foster a healthy, collaborative engineering culture.
・Talent Acquisition: Actively participate in recruitment activities to strengthen and scale the team.
Technical & Product Contribution
・Reliability Strategy: Formulate and execute comprehensive strategies aimed at boosting product quality and reliability.
・SLO Management: Drive the definition, measurement, and continuous improvement of Service Level Objectives (SLOs).
・Quality Assurance Frameworks: Define what "quality" means for the platform and seamlessly embed it into standard development and operational workflows.
・Developer Experience: Champion initiatives that optimize internal engineering processes to improve overall developer experience (DevEx).
About the Engineering Organization
The organization aims to unlock the full potential of the platform, evolving it into a product that seamlessly meets the diverse and growing needs of its customers.
The department to which this position belongs is divided into two primary groups: the App Group, which drives core product feature development, and the Reliability Group, which owns overall product dependability. The Reliability Group brings together specialists across the SRE, QA, and DevEx domains, leveraging their distinct expertise to build a bulletproof, scalable foundation that sustains the product's rapid growth.
