Job Description (Senior) Finance Business Partner Your Tasks Conduct in-depth analyses of financial closing and reporting results, providing insightful commentary and delivering reports and reconciliations to senior management Prepare and support forecasting and planning processes, ensuring accurate results and strategic alignment Collaborate closely with the Line of Business and other CFO departments, ensuring seamless coordination and information flow Contribute to target setting and performance steering activities, supporting the achievement of financial and strategic objectives Perform economic analyses for the Line of Business, providing valuable insights to senior financial management Drive the continuous enhancement of steering, controlling, and reporting processes, tools, and methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness Support cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives, contributing expertise and analytical input to achieve business objectives Your Profile Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, or a comparable field Experience in a controlling, actuarial, or accounting function within the (re)insurance industry is an advantage Familiarity with German GAAP (HGB) and/or IFRS reporting standards (IFRS17) is an advantage Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand complex business topics and derive actionable insights Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey information effectively to a variety of stakeholders Collaborative team player with a proactive mindset and a drive for continuous improvement Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI, Snowflake/SQL and Copilot knowledge is a plus Fluent in English (C1) written and spoken; additional fluent in German (min.
