A rapidly growing, listed company with a global footprint. Having experienced significant growth over recent years, they are looking to optimise processes within their financial control team as the business continues to scale.

About the Role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you’ll be part of a team looking after month end close, statutory audit and reporting for a number of Group entities. It’s a great opportunity for an accountant with significant industry experience under their belt who wants to step up to a global organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the general ledgers for several subsidiaries, including balance sheet, bank and intercompany reconciliations
• Run accurate and timely month end close, including accruals and prepayments, working with other business areas
• Prepare auditor support files for quarterly reviews and year end audits and manage audit queries through to resolution
• Monitor capital spend and make sure it’s accounted for correctly
• Prepare technical accounting memos to support business transactions
• Help deliver process improvements and ERP system enhancements.

Skills / Experience required:

• CA (or equivalent) qualified
• Minimum 6 years' Accounting experience
• Minimum 2 years' industry experience (ESSENTIAL)
• Month end close experience (ESSENTIAL)
• Experience auditing listed clients highly regarded
• Experience assessing internal controls (design, implementation and operating effectiveness)
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
