Position Summary:

The Sr. Financial Control Manager is a key finance leader responsible for driving financial stewardship, performance management, and strategic decision-making across Marketing and Other General Expenses (MOGE) and Information Systems/Information Technology (IS/IT) spend for the Holistic Health Global business.

Serving as a trusted strategic co-pilot to senior functional and business leaders, this role translates complex financial information into clear, actionable insights that strengthen cost transparency, identify risks and opportunities, and enable informed business decisions. The Controller oversees financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and controllership across Global Holistic Health functions, including the D&I technical team, headquarters and white-collar costs, and IS/IT expenses.

The role owns the financial management of pre- and post-allocated MOGE and IS/IT costs across the annual budget, dynamic forecast, and period-end close processes, ensuring accurate, compliant, and transparent cost allocations. This leader also champions transformation, benchmarking, process improvement, and financial governance, partnering across functions and businesses to drive greater efficiency and sustainable performance.

Success in this role requires advanced knowledge of US GAAP, cost allocation methodologies, allocation drivers, and financial systems and tools, along with the ability to navigate a complex, cross-functional environment. As a people leader, the Controller will also coach, develop, and empower the finance team, strengthening capabilities and fostering a high-performing, collaborative organization.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end controllership for MOGE, headquarters and white-collar costs, and IS/IT spend, ensuring accurate accounting, reporting, forecasting, and actionable financial insights.
  • Serve as a strategic finance co-pilot to senior functional and business leaders, translating financial results into clear risks, opportunities, trade-offs, and recommendations that strengthen cost management and business performance.
  • Lead monthly and quarterly spend reviews with the Holistic Health leadership team, providing visibility into performance trends, emerging risks and opportunities, and recommended actions.
  • Own the annual budgeting, dynamic forecasting, monthly actual-versus-budget reporting, and period-end close processes for the assigned scope, including accruals, variance analysis, balance sheet reviews, and management reporting.
  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial postings and reporting across Marketing General, Other General, headquarters, and IS/IT P&L lines.
  • Oversee pre- and post-allocated costs and shared-service charges, ensuring transparent, appropriate, and compliant allocation drivers, methodologies, and outcomes in accordance with NAS, CSW, Group Accounting and Reporting requirements, and internal controls.
  • Lead the interpretation, implementation, and ongoing compliance with CSW requirements for Nestlé USA, including cost-center structures, master data, allocation drivers, and related tools.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators, benchmarks, and productivity measures, identifying savings opportunities and partnering with stakeholders to deliver sustainable cost improvements.
  • Maintain a strong financial control environment and drive the timely resolution of internal, external, and operational audit findings.
  • Champion standardization, simplification, automation, and transformation across MOGE and IS/IT finance processes while strengthening governance across business service models.
  • Build strong cross-functional partnerships across Finance, functional teams, operating companies, shared services, and group stakeholders to resolve issues and improve end-to-end process effectiveness.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the finance team, establishing clear priorities and accountability, strengthening technical and business capabilities, and fostering a high-performing, collaborative, and engaged culture.

Experience & Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field required.
  • CPA, CMA, MBA, or other relevant advanced degree or professional certification preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive finance or accounting experience, including financial planning and analysis, controllership, cost management, or related disciplines.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, with demonstrated experience applying accounting principles to financial reporting, cost management, and allocation methodologies.
  • Demonstrated experience with financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, cost allocations, internal controls, variance analysis, and period-end close processes.
  • Experience managing complex cost structures and allocation methodologies, including allocation drivers and shared-service costs.
  • Strong financial systems and analytical capabilities, with experience leveraging financial tools, data, and reporting to improve insights and decision-making.
  • Demonstrated experience driving process improvement, standardization, automation, or finance transformation initiatives within a complex, cross-functional environment.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and translate complex financial information into clear, actionable business recommendations.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner effectively across functions and organizational levels, balancing strong financial governance with business priorities.
  • Proven ability to lead effectively in a transformational environment, demonstrating agility, adaptability, and strategic leadership while driving change, influencing stakeholders, and delivering results amid evolving business priorities.
