What You'll Do

As a Frontend Engineer at Breet, you'll be responsible for building and maintaining user-facing features that deliver an exceptional customer experience.

You'll:

• Build responsive, scalable, and high-performance web applications using React.js, Next.js, and TypeScript
• Develop clean, reusable, and maintainable frontend components
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, Backend Engineering, and QA teams to deliver exceptional user experiences
• Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs
• Optimize applications for speed, accessibility, and performance
• Write clean, testable, and well-documented code
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to frontend best practices
• Troubleshoot issues and continuously improve application performance and usability

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, pays attention to detail, and takes ownership of their work.

You should have:

• 4+ years of professional frontend development experience
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, React.js, and Next.js
• Experience working with CSS preprocessors such as SASS or LESS
• Familiarity with state management libraries such as Redux or the Context API
• Experience working with frontend testing tools such as Jest, Mocha, Vitest, Playwright, or Cypress
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently while effectively managing multiple priorities
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience consuming RESTful APIs and working closely with backend services

Nice to Have

• Experience working in a fintech or fast-paced startup environment
• Understanding of frontend performance optimization techniques
• Familiarity with responsive design principles and accessibility best practices
• Experience using Git/GitHub in a collaborative development environment
