Senior Mobile Engineer (React Native)

We're looking for a Mobile Engineer who is passionate about building smooth, intuitive mobile experiences.

As a Mobile Engineer at Breet, you'll be responsible for building and maintaining mobile applications that deliver an exceptional customer experience.

You’ll:

a. Build pixel-perfect, buttery-smooth UIs across both mobile platforms.

b. Leverage native APIs for deep integrations and platform-specific features.

c. Diagnose and fix bugs, crashes, and performance bottlenecks to ensure a truly native feel.

d. Maintain and improve existing codebases while writing clean, scalable, and maintainable code.

e. Write and maintain automated tests to ensure high product quality and stability.

f. Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Backend teams to bring features to life.

g. Reach out to the open source community to encourage and help implement mission-critical software fixes - React Native moves fast and often breaks things.

h. Perform other duties relating to the job role as may arise from time to time and as may be assigned to the Employee.

We're looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, pays attention to detail, and takes ownership of their work.

You should have:

• Strong experience in mobile app development, particularly with React Native.
• A good understanding of building and maintaining applications for both iOS and Android.
• Experience integrating native APIs and platform-specific features.
• Familiarity with automated testing and debugging tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and an eye for performance and app stability.
• Ability to write clean, scalable, and maintainable code.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.

• Experience working in a fintech or fast-paced startup environment.
• Familiarity with native mobile development tools and workflows.
• Experience contributing to open-source projects.
• Experience using Git/GitHub in a collaborative development environment.
