Job Description - Roles and Responsibilities

• We’re looking for a senior functional analyst to critically look at the requirements of both Business and IT and define the functional requirements that must be implemented in the new ecosystem of microservices.

Responsibilities / responsibilities:

• Prepare the development of the new microservices
• Analysing how we work today together with Business and IT colleagues.
• Defining how we should work in the future.
• Defining a strategy how to implement the new microservices together with the tech leads.
• Adapting the strategy and supporting colleagues during the implementation.
• Get the colleagues on board.
• Business & legal requirements
• Doing analysis and delivering refined stories and documentation
• Capture requests for new (or revised) functionalities from Stakeholders
• Translate those requests into comprehensible and unambiguous Epics
• Slice Epics into refined stories ready for implementation by the team
• Ensure documentation on functionalities, epics and stories are up to date
• Lead refinement sessions

• Strong architectural insight and helicopter view.
• Always keep the whole picture in mind.
• Strong critical thinking and not being afraid to challenge the current way of working.
• Rigorously validates requirements, challenges assumptions, and keeps asking why until full clarity is reached.
• Experience splitting legacy systems.
• Experience with microservices.
