Senior GL Accountant

As a Senior GL Accountant, you will play a key role in international finance team, ensuring accurate financial reporting, leading closing activities, supporting complex accounting processes, and contributing to continuous improvements in a modern Scandinavian work environment. Key Responsibilities: Oversee general ledger accounting and complex account reconciliations; Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes; Prepare, analyze, and review financial reports and financial variances; Coordinate audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls; Communicate with internal stakeholders and clients to resolve complex accounting matters; Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and accounting best practices; Review work and provide guidance to junior team members where applicable. What we are looking for Higher education in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or a related field; Solid experience in accounting, financial reporting, and closing processes; Strong knowledge of accounting standards and internal controls; Experience with audits and financial statement preparation; Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail; Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines; Confident communication skills and stakeholder management experience; Proactive, solution-oriented, and collaborative approachs; Good command of English; Scandinavian language skills would be considered an advantage.
