About the Role

Genesis US Properties LLC is seeking an experienced hotel revenue and sales professional to help grow revenue across our U.S. hotel properties.

This role combines hands-on hotel revenue management with active hotel sales development. You will analyze demand, recommend pricing and distribution strategies, prepare forecasts, and pursue commercial opportunities that generate profitable room nights.

We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate direct experience with hotel revenue decisions and hotel sales results.

Key ResponsibilitiesHotel Revenue Management
  • Monitor and analyze occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, room revenue, booking pace, pickup, cancellations, and booking windows.
  • Prepare and update demand and room-revenue forecasts, explaining variances against budget, forecast, and prior-year performance.
  • Analyze competitive hotel sets, market demand, seasonality, and local events to identify pricing opportunities.
  • Recommend and implement approved room pricing, inventory, and availability strategies.
  • Prepare clear revenue reports and present actionable recommendations to property teams and leadership.
  • Evaluate corporate and group opportunities against forecast demand and potential displacement of higher-value business.
Hotel Sales & Commercial Development
  • Identify, prospect, develop, and follow up on corporate accounts, group opportunities, travel partners, and other relevant hotel demand sources.
  • Prepare hotel proposals, negotiate commercial terms within approved guidelines, and close business.
  • Maintain an organized sales pipeline and track conversion, room nights, account production, and revenue.
  • Develop existing accounts through relationship management, renewals, and additional business opportunities.
  • Coordinate with property management and marketing teams to address low-demand periods and support targeted promotions.
Commercial Coordination
  • Maintain accurate commercial records, account information, and performance reports.
  • Coordinate follow-up between hotel teams, external partners, and company leadership.
  • Participate in revenue and sales meetings and travel to U.S. properties when required.
Required Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of relevant hotel commercial experience, including 2 years of hands-on hotel revenue management.
  • Demonstrated experience in hotel sales, including prospecting, account development, negotiation, and closing corporate, group, or partner business.
  • Practical experience analyzing occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, booking pace, competitive sets, pricing, and forecasts.
  • Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills for analysis, reporting, and forecasting.
  • Advanced/fluent written and spoken English, sufficient to lead commercial conversations and explain revenue recommendations.
  • Currently based in Colombia.
  • Valid U.S. visa, B1/B2 or equivalent, and availability to travel when required.
  • Ability to work independently, maintain accurate records, and manage competing priorities.

Relevant experience may come from hotels, hotel management companies, accommodation portfolios, or hospitality distribution businesses, provided it includes direct responsibility for hotel revenue activities and hotel sales.

Preferred Experience
  • Experience with U.S. hotel markets.
  • Revenue or commercial responsibility across multiple properties.
  • Measurable improvements in hotel revenue performance or account production.
  • Familiarity with hotel benchmarking reports and revenue management platforms.
What We Offer
  • COP $10,000,000 monthly salary.
  • Full-time remote work from Colombia.
  • Monday–Friday schedule during standard business hours.
  • Collaboration with an international team supporting U.S. hotel properties.
