Role Description The Owner role is a part-time, remote position responsible for overseeing the overall vision, strategy, and operations of Arab Professionals. On a day-to-day basis, the Owner will define organizational goals, manage priorities, and ensure services and initiatives align with the needs of the professional community. Responsibilities include coordinating online events and programs, building partnerships, guiding marketing and communications, and monitoring financial performance at a high level. The role also involves supervising contractors or volunteers, making decisions about platform development and content direction, and maintaining a strong, inclusive culture. This position requires proactive leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to work independently while collaborating virtually with stakeholders and community members.

Qualifications

Demonstrated leadership and strategic planning skills, with experience setting vision, goals, and priorities for an organization or business.
Strong organizational and operational management abilities, including overseeing projects, coordinating remote teams, and managing budgets or resources.
Effective communication and relationship-building skills, with experience engaging diverse stakeholders, partners, and community members.
Familiarity with digital platforms, online communities, and remote collaboration tools; ability to leverage social media and online channels for outreach.
Entrepreneurial mindset and problem-solving skills, with a track record of taking initiative and driving growth or innovation.
Understanding of or interest in the professional landscape and needs of Arab or global communities; prior experience in community building is beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, management, communications, or a related field is preferred, but not strictly required.
Ability to work part-time with flexibility across time zones and maintain accountability in a remote, self-directed environment.
