  • Assist with the preparation, review, organization, and filing coordination of patent and trademark applications.
  • Monitor application statuses, renewal deadlines, opposition periods, and other critical intellectual property milestones.
  • Maintain accurate IP databases, case-management records, filing histories, ownership information, and supporting documentation.
  • Coordinate with external patent attorneys, trademark agents, legal advisers, and relevant authorities on IP-related matters.

  • Assist with intellectual property licensing, assignment, confidentiality, and technology-transfer documentation.
  • Support intellectual property due diligence for business transactions, partnerships, investments, and research collaborations.
  • Review contractual provisions relating to IP ownership, usage rights, confidentiality, and protection of proprietary information.
  • Coordinate internal IP disclosure processes and maintain records of inventions submitted by employees, researchers, and business partners.
  • Support the development and implementation of intellectual property policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Prepare portfolio reports, status summaries, risk assessments, and management dashboards for relevant stakeholders.
  • Conduct research into changes in intellectual property legislation, regulatory requirements, filing procedures, and industry practices.
  • Collaborate with research and development, product development, marketing, technology, and legal teams to identify IP protection opportunities.
  • Assist with dispute preparation by organizing evidence, correspondence, registration records, and other relevant documentation.
  • Support employee awareness initiatives covering intellectual property ownership, confidentiality, invention disclosure, and responsible use of third-party materials.
  • Recommend improvements to IP portfolio management, recordkeeping, deadline tracking, and risk mitigation processes.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Intellectual Property, Business Administration, Engineering, Science, or a related discipline.
  • A postgraduate qualification or professional certification in intellectual property law or IP management is an advantage.
  • Substantial experience in intellectual property management, patent administration, trademark portfolio management, IP research, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of intellectual property principles, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, industrial designs, and trade secrets.
  • Familiarity with intellectual property filing procedures, registration requirements, renewal deadlines, and portfolio maintenance.
  • Experience conducting patent searches, trademark clearance research, prior-art reviews, or preliminary IP assessments.
  • Knowledge of intellectual property licensing, assignment agreements, confidentiality provisions, and ownership arrangements.
  • Familiarity with international IP frameworks and relevant UAE intellectual property requirements.
  • Experience coordinating with external legal counsel, patent agents, trademark representatives, or regulatory authorities.
  • Ability to interpret technical, commercial, and legal documentation and identify relevant intellectual property considerations.

  • Excellent written communication skills, including the preparation of reports, correspondence, and portfolio summaries.
  • Proficiency in IP management databases, document-management systems, research platforms, and standard office productivity tools.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple portfolios, competing deadlines, and confidential records.
  • High standards of discretion, professional integrity, and information security.
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment while coordinating effectively with international teams.
What We Offer

  • Competitive compensation based on experience, qualifications, and relevant expertise.
  • Opportunities to contribute to intellectual property strategy, innovation protection, and portfolio development.
  • A collaborative professional environment involving legal, technical, commercial, and research stakeholders.
