Senior Investment Associate, Egypt

About the Role

F6 Ventures is seeking a Senior Investment Associate to Take an active role across the full investment lifecycle, including deal sourcing, evaluation, execution, portfolio management, and fund operations. The role involves assessing investment opportunities, leading key workstreams throughout the transaction process, supporting portfolio companies, and contributing to fundraising and investor relations activities.

We’re looking for someone with strong investment judgment, analytical and financial capabilities, and the confidence to engage effectively with founders, investors, and other stakeholders. The ideal candidate will also bring curiosity, ownership, and a genuine passion for entrepreneurship and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Deal Sourcing & Investment Evaluation

• Proactively source and evaluate potential investment opportunities across priority sectors and markets.
• Develop and maintain a strong network within the startup, investment, and innovation ecosystem.
• Lead market research, competitive analysis, financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence activities.
• Lead founder meetings and assess business models, teams, market potential, financial performance, and growth prospects.
• Prepare and present clear and concise investment memos and presentations for management and the Investment Committee.
  
  

Transaction Execution

• Manage investment opportunities from initial evaluation through transaction closing.
• Lead key aspects of deal structuring, negotiations, legal documentation review, and transaction execution.
• Coordinate with founders, legal counsel, co-investors, and other stakeholders throughout the investment process.
• Ensure that investment processes, documentation, and internal approvals are completed accurately and efficiently.
  
  

Portfolio Management

• Maintain active relationships with portfolio company founders and management teams.
• Monitor portfolio company performance and assess key operational, financial, and strategic developments.
• Prepare portfolio reviews, investment updates, and performance reports.
• Support portfolio companies in fundraising, strategic initiatives, and growth opportunities.
• Identify key portfolio risks and opportunities and recommend appropriate actions.
• Evaluate follow-on investment opportunities and prepare investment recommendations.
  
  

Fund Operations & Ecosystem Engagement

• Contribute to fundraising activities, investor reporting, and LP communications.
• Support the preparation of fund performance updates, portfolio insights, and other investor materials.
• Ensure the accuracy and quality of investment records, portfolio databases, and reporting systems.
• Represent F6 Ventures at relevant ecosystem events and strengthen relationships with founders, investors, and strategic partners.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field; a relevant postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in venture capital, private equity or investment banking.
• Demonstrated experience in evaluating investment opportunities and managing transaction workstreams.
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic.
• Strong project management and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to effectively leverage AI and technology tools to enhance research, analysis, and productivity.
