About Us

We are committed to delivering effective financing solutions, strengthening lending relationships, and supporting complex corporate and institutional funding transactions. We are seeking an experienced Senior Loan Syndication Specialist to coordinate syndicated lending transactions, structure financing arrangements, manage lender relationships, and support the execution of loan syndications across corporate, commercial, and institutional markets.

The successful candidate will possess strong expertise in syndicated lending, credit analysis, debt structuring, financial modelling, and transaction execution. This role requires the ability to coordinate borrowers, lead arrangers, participating lenders, legal advisers, and internal credit teams while ensuring transactions are commercially viable, appropriately documented, and compliant with applicable regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate syndicated loan transactions from initial origination and structuring through lender distribution, documentation, closing, and post-closing coordination.
  • Support the structuring of corporate loans, acquisition financing, leveraged finance, project finance, revolving credit facilities, term loans, and other syndicated financing arrangements.
  • Analyze borrower financial statements, business models, cash flow projections, debt profiles, credit ratings, and repayment capacity to assess financing suitability.
  • Develop financing proposals, transaction summaries, lender presentations, information memoranda, and other materials required for syndication.
  • Collaborate with relationship managers, corporate banking teams, credit risk departments, treasury teams, and legal advisers to develop competitive financing solutions.
  • Identify potential lenders and institutional participants based on transaction size, industry exposure, risk appetite, geographic coverage, and lending mandates.
  • Coordinate lender outreach, market soundings, financing discussions, and distribution strategies to secure appropriate participation in syndicated facilities.
  • Evaluate pricing structures, interest margins, arrangement fees, commitment fees, underwriting terms, covenants, repayment schedules, and other commercial conditions.
  • Support the preparation and negotiation of term sheets, commitment letters, facility agreements, and related financing documentation.
  • Monitor lender commitments, allocation requests, credit approvals, and documentation milestones to ensure transactions progress according to schedule.
  • Analyze market conditions, benchmark rates, credit spreads, sector trends, and competing financing structures to support transaction pricing and execution.
  • Coordinate with legal counsel and transaction stakeholders on loan documentation, conditions precedent, security arrangements, guarantees, and closing requirements.
  • Review borrower credit information and identify financial, operational, legal, and market risks that may affect syndication feasibility.
  • Support due diligence activities, including the review of corporate structures, financial performance, collateral information, existing debt arrangements, and material contractual obligations.
  • Maintain accurate transaction records, lender allocation schedules, pipeline reports, and syndication status updates.
  • Monitor concentration limits, counterparty exposure, internal risk appetite, and relevant credit policies throughout the transaction process.
  • Assist with the preparation of credit submissions, risk assessments, committee papers, and management reports.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with banks, institutional investors, private credit providers, financial advisers, and other relevant market participants.
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities and additional financing requirements among existing borrowers and prospective clients.
  • Monitor developments in syndicated loan markets, financing regulations, benchmark interest rates, and regional economic conditions affecting lending activity.
  • Support post-closing activities, including lender communication, facility administration coordination, and monitoring of outstanding transaction obligations.
  • Recommend process improvements to strengthen transaction execution, documentation control, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.
  • Handle confidential borrower information and commercially sensitive transaction details in accordance with applicable data protection and information security requirements.
  • Perform all responsibilities remotely through secure financial systems, digital documentation platforms, and virtual collaboration tools.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Banking, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • A master's degree in Finance, Banking, or Business Administration is an advantage.
  • At least 5–8 years of relevant experience in loan syndication, corporate banking, debt capital advisory, leveraged finance, structured lending, or institutional lending.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting or leading syndicated loan transactions, including origination, credit assessment, lender coordination, and transaction execution.
  • Strong understanding of syndicated lending structures, including term loans, revolving credit facilities, acquisition financing, and other corporate debt products.
  • Proven ability to analyze borrower financial statements, assess debt capacity, evaluate cash flow forecasts, and interpret credit metrics.
  • Experience preparing financing proposals, lender presentations, information memoranda, credit submissions, and transaction reports.
  • Knowledge of loan pricing, interest margins, arrangement fees, lender allocations, underwriting commitments, and syndication strategies.
  • Familiarity with syndicated loan documentation, including facility agreements, commitment letters, security documents, guarantees, and financial covenants.
  • Understanding of credit risk management, counterparty exposure, debt service capacity, collateral assessment, and loan covenant monitoring.
  • Familiarity with UAE banking practices, applicable financial regulations, and relevant regional lending markets is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of international syndicated lending standards and documentation frameworks, including relevant Loan Market Association (LMA) conventions, is desirable.
  • Strong financial modelling, credit analysis, valuation, and quantitative assessment capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial analysis tools; experience with banking systems, credit platforms, or loan syndication databases is an advantage.

  • High standards of professional integrity, confidentiality, analytical accuracy, and regulatory awareness.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with international teams and financial institutions across different time zones.
