Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare annual reports and statutory filings for each entity, including the parent company's accounts under RFR 2 and the subsidiaries' accounts under local requirements in Sweden, Switzerland, UK, France and Hong Kong.

  • Own accounting policies and technical accounting questions for the entities in scope, making sure local accounting is consistent with group requirements.

  • Manage inter-company transactions and reconciliations across the group, support transfer pricing documentation and make sure inter-company pricing is applied correctly in the accounts.

  • Manage the overseas entities through a mix of in-house work and local accounting firms, making sure outsourced work meets the group's standards and deadlines.

  • Manage the external audits of all entities in scope, coordinating deliverables and resolving queries.

  • Ensure compliance with VAT, corporate income tax and other local tax rules in each country, together with external tax advisors.

  • Maintain and strengthen internal controls over financial reporting.

  • Partner with Controlling on budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.

  • Lead improvements to ERP and finance systems to raise efficiency and data quality.

Who we’re looking for:

  • Fluent written and spoken English and Swedish. French would be an advantage.

  • A strong and clear communicator especially when it comes to senior stakeholders.

  • You value being structured and have an improvement-minded approach to everything you do.

  • Demonstrable commercial awareness and a business partnering mindset.

You probably have the following experiences & skills:

  • 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at 3+ years leading teams.

  • University degree in business, accounting or finance.

  • Solid knowledge of IFRS as applied under RFR 2, Swedish GAAP and local GAAP in other countries.

  • Experience managing statutory reporting and external audits for entities in several countries.

  • Experience with inter-company accounting and transfer pricing in a multinational group.

  • Experience managing tax compliance, including VAT and corporate income tax, in several countries, together with external tax advisors.

  • Experience working with and managing external accounting firms or service providers.

  • Professional qualification (auktoriserad redovisningskonsult, ACCA, ACA, CPA or equivalent) or audit experience from a larger firm is a strong advantage.
