Senior Manager - Conversion S/4Hana

About the job:

On behalf of a leading international consulting firm, we are looking for a Senior Manager to lead SAP S/4HANA conversion programs within its Enterprise Platform practice, a well-established SAP team of around 250 professionals across Italy.

With mainstream support for SAP ECC coming to an end, a large number of companies will have to move to S/4HANA over the next few years. The firm is looking for a senior professional to act as the pivot of its conversion projects: choosing the right approach, steering delivery and becoming the go-to reference for clients and internal teams nationwide.

About the role

You will be responsible end to end for a portfolio of S/4HANA conversion projects, mainly brownfield (system conversion) and bluefield (selective data transition). Reporting directly to a Partner, you will work with SAP leads across Italy and with clients' senior stakeholders, managing delivery with full autonomy and helping to grow the firm's conversion offering.

Key Responsibilities

Conversion Strategy

• Define the conversion approach that best fits each client, choosing between system conversion (brownfield) and selective data transition (bluefield).
• Assess the client's landscape and turn it into a clear roadmap.

Program Governance

• Define end-to-end governance for S/4HANA conversion projects: phases, roles, and controls over time, cost, risk and quality.
• Apply structured methodologies such as SAP Activate, PMI and Prince2.

Delivery Leadership

• Coordinate project execution, keeping technical and functional teams aligned and on track with agreed plans.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams, ensuring quality and consistency of deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage several projects in parallel as part of a portfolio.

Senior Stakeholder Engagement

• Manage relationships with project sponsors and clients' top management as the point of reference on progress, issues and key decisions.

Business Development

• Help develop the commercial offering for conversion projects.
• Support proposals and identify new business opportunities.

Your Profile

Essential

• Solid experience in SAP transformation, with hands-on leadership of S/4HANA conversion projects.
• In-depth knowledge of conversion approaches (brownfield, bluefield/SDT) and the main supporting tools.
• Proven autonomy in managing complex, multi-stakeholder SAP programs, ideally in consulting firms or system integrators.
• Experience with structured project governance (SAP Activate, PMI, Prince2).
• Strong stakeholder management with senior sponsors and C-level contacts.
• Business development mindset and experience in building commercial proposals.
• Fluent Italian and good command of English.
• Availability for frequent travel across Italy, and abroad when needed.

Location and Job Type

Location: Turin – Hybrid

Travel: Frequent, across Italy and abroad when needed

Annual Gross Salary: Range between €70,000 and €85,000 base salary + MBO + company car
