Senior Manager - Direct Investment Valuations

Location: Sheffield Hybrid Working

(Expectation that you will attend an office 2 days per week)

Contract: Permanent

Salary: Up to £60,000 Sheffield

Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week/flexible days and/or hours (Mon-Fri)

THE ROLE

In this role you will lead the quarterly valuation process for a large direct investment portfolio, ensuring valuations are robust, well-governed and clearly documented. You will work closely with Finance, Investment teams and external stakeholders to support accurate financial and valuation reporting, while helping to strengthen valuation methodologies, processes and controls.

You will manage and develop members of the Valuations team, supporting effective delivery, review and challenge across the quarterly cycle. You will also oversee financial modelling, portfolio data and reporting tools, identifying opportunities to improve data quality, operational efficiency and the way information is shared across the business.

Able to demonstrate experience in financial asset valuation, financial modelling and performance reporting, alongside a strong understanding of valuation standards such as IFRS 13, IFRS 9 and IPEV. You will bring strong analytical judgement, stakeholder management skills and experience of improving systems or processes. You will also be confident managing priorities, developing others and working collaboratively across teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
