Your Role at Sephora: Ready for a career glow up? As Senior Finance Manager, Web, you'll be leading financial lanning and analysis for our US Web business. You'll manage a team that's united in beauty, supported by those who are equally passionate about turning data into insights that shape the client experience.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead sales and gross margin planning. Own the budget, rolling forecast, and long-range plan for Web sales. Partner with Web, Analytics, and Marketing leaders to quantify how digital marketing, promotions, launches, and site and app initiatives affect sales and profitability.
  • Drive gross margin analysis. Lead planning and analysis of product margin, promotions, markdowns, returns, and other cost-of-sales components with Demand Planning and Accounting partners.
  • Deliver performance insights. Provide weekly, monthly, and annual reporting versus forecast, budget, and prior year. Highlight key drivers, risks, and opportunities.
  • Own expense budgeting, forecasting, and control. Manage the budget, forecast, monthly close, and variance analysis for all controllable Web expenses, including shipping, client services, client experience, and variable marketing.
  • Hold partners accountable. Review spending against approved plans, follow up with expense owners, and resolve issues to deliver operating plan objectives.
  • Evaluate digital initiatives and lead the team. Build business cases and ROI analyses and measure results after major initiatives. Lead, develop, and coach the Web finance team, improve planning, reporting, and tools, and prepare ad hoc analyses for Web leadership.

What You'll Bring:

  • Finance experience. At least 7 years of progressive finance experience, ideally in business planning and analysis within ecommerce or retail. This includes sales forecasting, gross margin analysis, variable expense budgeting and forecasting, and monthly close.
  • Team leadership. 3+ years of experience leading and developing a team, with the ability to coach and grow talent.
  • Education. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business required. Master's degree or MBA preferred.
  • Financial planning expertise. Strong skills in forecasting, budgeting, monthly close, variance analysis, and P&L management. This includes advanced Excel (including Copilot) and financial modeling skills. Anaplan and SAP experience preferred.
  • Ecommerce acumen. Strong understanding of ecommerce economics, including traffic and conversion, gross margin and promotional impact, and shipping and returns.
  • Partnership and communication. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with non-financial partners and executive leadership. You can hold expense owners accountable while maintaining productive relationships.
  • Mindset. Strategic, analytical, detail-oriented, and motivated. You thrive in a fast-paced, client-oriented environment and manage competing priorities and tight deadlines.
