This senior manager will help shape how Dow Jones leaders communicate with employees, customers, partners, media and on social media, as part of the company’s global corporate communications team. The role offers a broad view of Dow Jones and the opportunity to generate content across our news, consumer, enterprise, risk and energy businesses, and bring people onboard Dow Jones’s mission, strategy and values. You Will:

  • Report to the VP of Internal Communications and be based out of our New York City office in midtown (hybrid, three days a week).
  • Generate content for both internal and external channels (including our company intranet and e-newsletter, LinkedIn and Instagram), and ability to repurpose the content across multiple formats (intranet article, video, press release, infographic, etc.).
  • Lead internal change initiatives and be a trusted advisor to key business stakeholders to ensure our people understand what is changing and what it means for them.
  • Manage global campaigns–from ideation to execution–to increase awareness, create excitement and boost engagement.
  • Lead company-wide programming–such as our Global All-Hands, ‘ask me anything’ events for our leaders, etc.–and proactively identify ways to improve participation and engagement.
  • Consistently stay abreast of the latest employee communications/engagement technologies and advise how we can leverage them at Dow Jones to improve efficiency.

You Have:

  • 10+ years internal communications or relevant experience
  • Aptitude for creative storytelling and connection to business priorities
Background leading change within a matrixed organization
  • Experience developing and executing impactful global campaigns
  • Strong writing skills with a nose for news; reporter/journalism background a plus
  • Ability to distill complex content and concepts into something simple and sticky – be it in the form of messages and/or graphics
  • Strong experience with video editing, AI tools and graphic design software
  • A data-led approach to communications, and have experience managing content calendars and data dashboards
  • A professional, collaborative and team-oriented approach to your work
  • Excellent project management skills and solution oriented
  • Global work experience / background is a plus
  • Communications agency experience is a plus
