This role serves as a key liaison between Marketing, IT, Security, Legal, Data, and other cross-functional teams to ensure technology investments deliver measurable business value.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and lead the global marketing technology strategy and multi-year roadmap, establishing the target-state architecture and prioritizing investments that support business growth and operational efficiency.
  • Govern Bentley's marketing technology ecosystem, including system ownership, user access, change management, documentation standards, and platform performance.
  • Oversee data flow and integrations across marketing, sales, customer success, product, and analytics platforms, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, privacy, and regulatory compliance.
  • Lead and develop the Marketing Operations team by establishing priorities, workflows, service standards, and operational best practices.
  • Manage the evaluation, selection, implementation, renewal, consolidation, and retirement of marketing technology solutions through structured vendor and build-versus-buy assessments.
  • Partner with Marketing leadership to define and execute Bentley's AI strategy, identifying opportunities to leverage AI and agentic workflows to improve productivity, decision-making, and marketing performance.
  • Evaluate emerging AI-enabled technologies and establish governance frameworks covering security, data usage, quality standards, compliance, and cost management.
  • Translate business requirements into actionable technology solutions and prioritized implementation plans, working closely with IT, Security, Legal, and Data teams.
  • Establish key performance indicators for marketing technology platforms, including system reliability, user adoption, utilization, data quality, and return on investment.
  • Drive global adoption of marketing technology platforms through training, enablement programs, user support, and comprehensive documentation.
  • Communicate technology strategies, recommendations, and trade-offs effectively to stakeholders and senior leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in marketing technology, marketing operations, revenue operations, or a related discipline within a complex B2B technology or software organization.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and managing an enterprise marketing technology roadmap across multiple functions, geographies, or business units.
  • Strong expertise with marketing automation, CRM, analytics, reporting, integration, and content management technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce and Marketo is required.
  • Strong understanding of data management, system integrations, governance practices, and privacy regulations, including GDPR and CCPA.
  • Experience leading vendor evaluations, proof-of-concept initiatives, technology selection processes, and build-versus-buy analyses.
  • Experience leveraging generative AI and agentic AI technologies within business processes and marketing workflows.
  • Proven success leading teams and managing cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing enterprise-scale marketing technology ecosystems within a global software, SaaS, or technology company.
  • Familiarity with customer data platforms (CDPs), data warehouses, business intelligence tools, and advanced marketing analytics solutions.
  • Experience partnering closely with IT, Security, Data Governance, and Legal teams on enterprise technology initiatives.
  • Knowledge of AI governance frameworks, responsible AI practices, and emerging trends in marketing automation and customer engagement technologies.
  • Advanced understanding of marketing attribution, segmentation, lead management, customer journey orchestration, and performance measurement.
